We are ecstatic that ‘Savage, Songs From A Broken World’ by Gary Numan has charted at number 2 in the U.K Album chart.
The radio campaign so far has seen Numan achieve his first ever BBC Radio 6 Music playlist addition with his lead single ‘My Name Is Ruin’ as well as a feature on Steve Lamacq’s Roundtable. ‘Savage’ also secured Album of the day on BBC Radio 6 Music and an in depth interview with Steve Lamacq. We also have an interview with Radcliffe & Maconie coming up to discuss the albums success and the 2nd single ‘When The World Comes Apart’.
On BBC Radio 2 Numan had an in depth interview with Janice Long for her ‘A Long Walk With Janice’ feature where Janice discussed Gary’s upbringing in London and played new and old tracks. Jonathan Ross also had Gary in for his arts show where he played tracks off the album. We have also secured an interview with Zoe Ball on the day of his show at Brixton Academy.
The track also secured record of the week at Virgin Radio with Eddy Temple-Morris and Gary had a drivetime interview on talkRADIO.
