It’s been a pleasure working with funk duo Tuxedo made up of Grammy-nominated producer and singer Mayer Hawthorne and Grammy-nominated producer Jake One. Signed to Stones Throw Records, the new single ‘Shy’ follows their debut album Tuxedo, which included the hit single “Do It”, and their second album Tuxedo II, which featured Snoop Dogg on the G-Funk style opener “Fux With The Tux”.
‘Shy’ which was recorded with legendary funk group Zapp, and has seen multiple plays across BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music including plays on Zoe Ball, Craig Charles, Lauren Laverne, Chris Hawkins and Tom Ravenscroft.
