It’s been a busy week here at Hesso Media so we thought we would round up of all our radio action this week!

  • Spot plays for Jack Savoretti have come from BBC Radio 2’s OJ Borg, Zoe Ball, Graham Norton and Ken Bruce ahead of his A-List addition of ‘Youth And Love Feat. Mika’ which kicks in this Saturday. We have also just confirmed for Jack to appear on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show for a chat and live performance.


  • Spot Plays for Izo Fitzroy (Produced by Dimitri From Paris) have come from BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley, BBC Radio London’s Tony Blackburn and Janice Long on BBC Radio Wales plus we have confirmed for Izo to perform live on Rylan’s R2 show, live from Café Mambo, Ibiza. Previous plays have come from Trevor Nelson, Lauren Laverne, Chris Hawkins and Craig Charles.


  • Following Thea Gilmore’s session for Mark Radcllife’s Folk Show on BBC Radio 2 spot plays have come from Paul O’ Grady and Anneka Rice. Johnny Coppin is spinning Thea’s track ‘Don’t Dim Your Light For Anyone’ across BBC Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire this Sunday.


  • We had a first play for Gizmo Varillas from Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2 and spot play from Janice Long on BBC Radio Wales.


  • Mark Kingswood had a ‘New To 2’ on Ken Bruce and we also confirmed a spot play in Jeremy Vine for next week.


  • The Lafontaines have been added to The Sound Lab’s syndicated New Music playlist across 60+ regional stations.


  • Nell Bryden joined Janice Long on BBC Radio Wales to discuss her new EP. Janice played out 4 tracks from Nell.
